Terms of Service & SaaS SLA Agreement
Last Revised: August 30, 2026 // This legally binding agreement governs your access to and use of SynapseGEO Generative Engine Optimization infrastructure, APIs, and Merchant of Record billing.
1Acceptance of Terms & Contracting Entities
By creating an account, accessing the SynapseGEO platform, deploying Edge Interception workers, or utilizing our LLM observability APIs, you irrevocably agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Standard.
2Service Scope & Domain Ownership Verification
SynapseGEO provides generative engine optimization (GEO), sub-15ms edge proxy interception, and multi-model factual hallucination defense. Users may only activate domains for which they hold verifiable ownership via RFC DNS TXT challenge. A domain can belong exclusively to one tenant to eliminate spoofing and collision risks.
3Billing, Merchant of Record & Active Subscriber Grandfathering
3.1 Merchant of Record Compliance:
All financial transactions and recurring subscriptions are processed via Lemon Squeezy acting as Merchant of Record (MoR). Lemon Squeezy handles global sales tax/VAT compliance and provides compliant payouts internationally.
3.2 Mandatory Active Subscriber Grandfathering Guarantee:
In the event that SynapseGEO modifies pricing tiers, quota allocations, or archives/deletes a subscription plan, all existing active subscribers are guaranteed grandfathered protection. Their recurring price and contracted feature limits remain fixed for the continuous lifespan of their active subscription. No retroactive price increases or quota reductions will be imposed without a minimum 60-day advance notice.
4Intellectual Property & Manifest Delivery
Clients retain 100% intellectual property ownership over their brand data, pricing models, and technical documentation. SynapseGEO grants an unrestricted, royalty-free license to deploy and serve all generated llms.txt manifests, schema graphs, and Edge worker scripts.
5Service Level Agreement (SLA) & Incident Response
SynapseGEO guarantees 99.99% monthly uptime across edge proxy routing points. Service credits are automatically applicable for unscheduled downtime in accordance with our formal SLA documentation.
